Ashley Cox is a wedding and portrait photographer who has spent over a decade learning to pay attention: to that shift in the light just before the ceremony begins, the subtle glance across a crowded room, the delicate arrangement of a tablescape, or some small moment that might turn out to be everything.

While studying fine art photography at the University of Virginia, Ashley fell in love with film- its warmth, its authenticity, its timeless and nostalgic feel. Film seemed to slow everything down and invite a steady gaze. That way of seeing now inspires every scene she creates, every moment she waits for, and every image she delivers.

Ashley photographs weddings throughout Virginia, along the East Coast and beyond, with work featured in Brides, People Magazine, Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake & more. She lives in Charlottesville with her family.
