1. I’ve been married for 3.5 years to the love of my life and we are expecting our first baby this summer!
2. I have a golden retriever named Summer who is my best friend. My husband surprised me with her on Christmas morning (red bow and all!) and it was a literal dream. She is my favorite co-worker and most photographed subject.
3. We live in a chicken-friendly city, and our adorable girls give us up to 40 eggs a week!
4. My favorite place is the beach and my favorite beaches are in California. I try to get out there at least once a year and we dream of moving there for a season at some point in our lives.
5. I fell in love with film photography while studying at UVA and ended up majoring in Studio Art. Everything changed for me the first time I was in the darkroom doing my own developing and printing. The process and final product enthralled me, and my darkroom experience is largely responsible for the film-centeredness of my work.
